I am very happy to announce that my new book Gendered Citizenship and the Politics of Representation has been published by Palgrave Macmillan. This is a collection edited by Hilde Danielsen, Kari Jegerstedt, Ragnhild Muriaas, and myself. It comes of the Ida Blom conference we organized three years ago in conjunction with the centennial jubilee for the institution of equal suffrage in Norway.

The book is international and multi-disciplinary, with contributions from leading and young scholars in a range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. It deals with questions of representation and gendered citizenship from a variet of theoretical and empirical starting points, and is published as part of Palgrave’s Citizenship, Gender and Diversity series.

Here is a short presentation of the book at the UiB website and with the publisher.
